Who wouldn’t love to be able to bring the excitement of European football to the family home. This can easily be achieved with an addition of a table football into your home. Invite friends over to participate in any tournament to make your day or night full of fun and excitement.
This is possible with a table that is designed to look just like a European football stadium. Imagine being able to pretend that you are your favorite football team while facing your friend or sibling across from you on the table battling for football supremacy. Here is where you will be able to make your ultimate fantasy come to life as you kick the winning goal in the final seconds to win the championship. Wouldn’t this game table be a great asset to any party or family event you may have in the future? It would certainly keep the kids occupied.
Try to find the perfect spot in your home to be able to set up the table and keep it accessible year round. Who says you will have to brave the elements to enjoy a good game of football as you can have all of the fun you are looking for right from the comfort of your family room on your indoor table.
With all the features and intricate design of the table which creates an authentic stadium look, who wouldn’t want to play on this table? The game play is the same as any other football table. You will be the talk of the group as your table will look so much better than the average table football because it would carry the name official. How would you feel at the drop of the ball and everyone holds their breath in anticipation as you and your opponent spin the handles to control the ball and to send it into your opponents goal.
This feeling can’t be matched. Holding on to superiority over all your family and friends, organizing football tournaments in your home designed for you own table football. Reenacting any football game you may be watching on television. These are some of the things to consider while getting the most out of enjoying this table. Setting new rules or making new challenges will keep the interest and fun going. See how long one can maintain a shootout. Most importantly, make sure you have fun.

Providing children as well as adults with hours upon hours of reading some of the very best dialogue ever to be put on paper, and witnessing some of the best drawings to be sketched, in 1939, a new type of entertainment media is born. This is no doubt the birth of what is to become one of the greatest comic book companies of all time – Marvel Comics.
A young, already very popular Martin Goodman, founded the now ‘Marvel’ in 1939 as ‘Timely Publications’. Timely Publications brought to life new characters such as Silly Seal and Ziggy Pig. Timely also introduced comic fans with books that reflected the war and the new way of life.
All through the 1940’s Timely Publications would continue to grow and gain momentum when suddenly in 1950 the name was changed to Atlas Comics. This was a smart move on Goodman’s behalf because post-war America was tired of the same old superheroes. Something fresh and new is what they needed. Atlas Comics provided just that. They expanded into genres such as humor, westerns, drama, espionage and so much more! Although Atlas had great success, they did not attempt to innovate and instead let popular culture provide them with all the material they needed.
Fast forward to 1961 when a new brand of comic books in launched. Marvel Comics launches their first comic anthology ‘Amazing Adventures’ and it proves to be a hit. By this time a strong rivalry had developed between DC comics and Marvel. In response to DC Comic’s ‘Justice League of America’, Marvel Comics came forward with the acclaimed ‘The Fantastic 4′ during this time. Back in the spotlight again were some new superheroes and it was time for Marvel to take that spotlight.
Marvel worked on a variety of comic book series which would secure its’ place as Comic Book King. These included Spider-man, X-men, The Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man and so many more.
Why on earth was Marvel Comics such a smashing success? There’s an easy way to explain this and it’s known as humility. Marvel’s superheroes weren’t the handsome, perfect or athletic heroes found in traditional comic books. Marvel steered away from the defacto standard and revolutionized characterization allowing the readers to relate and therefore make personal connections with the superheroes.
For example, there is Spider-man, who is filled with self doubt and mixed feelings about his powers. Quite frankly it is great stories combined with intricate character build-ups that led to the success and finally top spot as Comic Books kings for Marvel Comics.
Even if you walk into a store today you’ll still see Marvel Comic Books everywhere, and they are as popular as ever. You will even find adults still reading the same comics they did as kids! Marvel still continues to print new series after new series. Through perseverance, effort and time, Martin Goodman managed to create the greatest Comic book company ever known and for that and all the great stories along the way – We thank him.
